Meet Dr. Aponte

Dr. Juan Aponte has been practicing dentistry for close to 30 years. A graduate of Williams College and New York University College of Dentistry, he went on to complete a two-year dental residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York before entering into private practice. For the past 20 years, Dr. Aponte owned a family and cosmetic dental practice on the coast of Maine, in the small town of Blue Hill, where he served 2500+ patients. In his free time, Dr. Aponte enjoys the great outdoors and loves running and hiking. He and his wife, Louise, have three children: Brandon, a sophomore at Stanford University, Colin, a high school senior, and Rebecca, a high school freshman at the Webb School of Knoxville. They are thrilled to call Tennessee their new home.

Dr. Aponte is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society which selects only the top 12% of dental graduates in the country and promotes scholarship and the advancement of ethical standards in the dental profession. He is committed to the highest quality patient care and has extensive experience in oral diagnosis, restorative dental treatment, prosthodontics, cosmetic procedures, and oral surgery.
